Cyberinsurance Preperation Assessment

CGP’s team has been consulting for the cyberinsurance industry since 2021 and developed deep industry expertise, including having licensed insurance experts on staff. We have developed a process to help your business be best prepared for renewal or acquiring cyberinsurance. This assessment can be completed in just a few days, and at the end, you have a copy of the complete assessment checklist and vulnerability scan results. We are now including tabletop exercises (TTE) to stress test your incident response planning annually.

Our assessment consists of two aspects:

• CGP has a checklist compiled from 40+ cyberinsurance carrier applications, resulting in a 56 point checklist to determine where your business stands on readiness, and what changes can result in better coverage or rates. This checklist can be used as a reference to complete any cyberinsurance applications, whether for new coverage or renewals.

• An extensive vulnerability scan will be performed both inside and outside your network (your team will need to temporarily install a scanning agent, or we can ship you a computer to plugin. Scans take <72 hours to complete).

• Two hours of consultation with one of our three technical partners (Legal Tech, CIO or CISO) to discuss issues and recommended improvements, plus a one hour tabletop exercise to review your incident response capabilities and risks.

• Meeting with a cyberinsurance agent to review your existing policy(s) and strategize for renewal, whether using your existing agent or our partners.

Cost: $1000 + $500/network scanned (min. 1)*

* network is defined as any segregated network that requires another instance of the scanner. Examples may include a cloud or datacenter environment, or additional office locations. This requirement can be quickly ascertained during an introduction call.
