Last weekend, Dustin & Trey attended the Association of Legal Administrators Fundamentals Conference in Boston. Trey: Dustin could you share some key takeaways from the fundamentals conference?

Dustin: Yea, it was interesting, I did a presentation on the anatomy of a breach so what you need to do to prepare because it is more of a when not if question and what you do afterwards. Another presentation that I sat in on was about processes and people it wasn’t necessarily the technology side of it but more so what are our client obligations, what are our compliance obligations, is this documented, and what are the processes we need to follow. So that was really interesting. You can go down a rabbit hole and talk about specific security things like that. It was a very holistic view though of what does the firm need to be doing as a whole & what processes do we need to have in place for the processes. So that was a neat conversation to have.
