In a one hour presentation we will provide information on how to properly evaluate and select a cyber insurance policy, implement proper safeguards for your firm to fulfill the technology requirements, and cover how to handle claims, including common pitfalls where firms' claims are denied.
Introductions will begin at 5:25pm, with the educational portion commencing promptly at 5:30pm, running until 6:30pm:

What to watch for, look at, and consider when shopping for a policy or looking at a renewal.
20 mins: Fulfilling your technology requirements for your policy by Dustin Bolander (Consulting CIO for small and midsize firms – Clear Guidance Partners)
Implementing best practices and requirements of a policy, including multifactor authentication, proper security, encryption, written policies and more.
20 mins: Navigating the claim after a breach by Josh White
Not if, but when your firm gets breached, how to navigate the process, and also avoid common reasons for claims being denied.
Presenters:
Dustin Bolander has been consulting in legal technology for 7+ years. He has experience in everything from trial support to document management implementations, usually getting involved when a firm has technology, security or workflow challenges. His focus is on small and midsize firms where he can work with the executive committee and managing partners.
